Protege Sports Inc. Unveils Sports Community Space
Today Protege Sports entered into a new development program with the Scottsdale Arizona chapter of Babe Ruth’s Cal Ripken league. Scottsdale Cal Ripken coaches will have their own “space” or community where they can learn, blog, schedule, and grow as coaches. “Our League has several very successful coaches on the state, regional, and national level”, said Paul DiPietro, the SCR President. “Our new coaches wanted a way to access these coaches and learn how they teach and communicate with their players and parents”.

Protege’s community space was developed for leagues, teams, and players. It will enable the user to upload game and practice video, watch professional instruction provided by Protege coaches, blog, and communicate with friends and other leagues, teams or coaches.

Andrew Lombard, CEO of Protege, is enthusiastic about the partnership with SCR. “Paul DiPietro is really committed to making baseball fun and exciting for the kids. The best way to accomplish this is through learning the proper fundamentals. Additionally, he has given his coaches a cutting-edge resource that they can’t find anywhere else”.

Scottsdale Cal Ripken teams are known for their innovation and success. This year’s SCR 9u, 11u, and two 12u’s won the Arizona State Championships. The 11u team went on to capture third in the Western Region and the 12u team finished second in the World Series.
